FIVE N' JIVE
Five N' Jive is a fun, upbeat movement activity designed to provide physical activity in five minute segments within the classroom. It allows students to get up and move around, getting their hearts pumping and their minds working! Each participating classroom is provided a Five N' Jive poster at the beginning of each school year. The poster contains 10 different movements that focus on three types of exercise; vigorous, flexibility, and strengthening. Once a Five N' Jive activity is complete, the teacher will record it on the poster by placing a sticker in the box. Teachers and students are encouraged to complete at least one Five N' Jive activity per day or 30 minutes per week. |
